Besan Laddu

I am 5 years old playing in the evening with my friend Mithun. We  suddenly see the street lights and run back home. Street lights are on- indication that its time to go home.  My mother loved baking cake but cake in a pressure cooker would take hours and OTG- whats that? None of us knew  about it. I ask my mother to bake a cake and Ma makes some laddus - Besan Laddus. And I completely forget about cake. My spouse says I have elephant's memory ,Fair enough... those sweet memories of girlhood - My lost friends- Suman Prasad, Paromita Ghosh- Where are you?? , Jumping and playing in a dry swimming pool, running away with maid with the whole CISF troop behind you...will it ever come back.... Yes it does very often, whenever I make Besan Laddu. Today I make sweet besan laddus and remember those utterly sweet childhood of mine.

Use the mixture in the shape of a cake  and refrigerate...as good as a cake :)
Or try ice tray to set them - they look cute!
